Project Description

The 1st “Experiencing Public Space” Education Scheme

Project Descriptions

Date: January – March 2013
Project Nature: Education

The project aims to enhance participants’ understanding of public space. Through a series of workshops, sharing, guided tours and presentations, we trained 60 Form 4 to Form 6 students to reflect on the value of public space and place-making. Participants, with help from our mentors, were required to initiate projects that can encourage social interactions. The education scheme culminated with final presentations in which participants had to present their work and learning experience.

Through our programs, we hope that students would not only pay more attention to both the potential and limitations of public space, but also unleash the potential of public space with their creativity.
