Venue: Yat Sen Square, The University of Hong Kong
Project Nature: Public Engagement
With around 100 participants, the forum featured three guest speakers from different fields, who shared their views on the inter-relationships between public spaces and civil rights. The discussion highlighted the implications of “Occupy Central” campaign at the HSBC Headquarters and “Anti-National Education Protest” at the Government Headquarters, as well as the need for human-oriented public spaces where freedom of speech can be sustained.
