The public seminar attracted more than 300 participants from the general public. The seminar kicked off with an officiating speech by Mrs. Carrie Lam, Secretary for Development, who talked about the government’s vision and plan for enhancing the harbourfront. It was followed by a presentation by Prof. Mee Kam Ng, Professor at CUHK Department of Geography & Resource Management, on the importance of harbourfront public spaces.

We also invited prominent guests from different sectors to carry out a panel discussion which touched on the planning, design, facilities and management of waterfront promenades.
